The New York Titans faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher Steve McFarlen, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Arrington Park by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. McFarlen went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Ryan Robinson earned the save for New York. The Titans now own a record of 61-23.

Izuru Takada came through with a big-time hit for New York. The shortstop smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
