Tucson center fielder Matt Linkous helped his team beat the Portland Dragons, 7-2. Linkous went 3 for 5 for the Toros. The Toros improved to 38-46.

Tucson used a clutch at-bat from Jose Pedroza to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Toros ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Pedroza.
