Minneapolis Vikings starter Bertrand Ivory was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Phoenix Thunderbirds, 6-3. Orlando Ortozco was called on to finish, recording his 4th save. Minneapolis, at 38-45, sits in third place in the Western Conference Manny Muro Division.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when first baseman Claire Wagemaker-Pell, who led the WC in hits with 202 in 2074, hit a double. The Vikings went on to win.

Wagemaker-Pell attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
