Vince Tozier, who is tied for 5th in the EC in innings pitched with 108.2, was terrific for the Brooklyn Browns in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Santiago Avispas. His performance earned Tozier rave reviews. The Browns now have a mark of 41-41.
Tozier gave Brooklyn a blue-ribbon performance. The 6-foot-10 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings of work.
"Vince was pounding the zone," said Brooklyn manager Jason Cormier.
