Las Vegas Aces starter Salomé Sieuve was in midseason form, as he helped his team beat the San Diego Destroyers, 5-1. Las Vegas is now 37-47.

William Sanjines had a big run-scoring double for the Aces in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Las Vegas leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from Trevor Laverick, who is tied for 2nd in the WC in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aces ahead, 3-1.

"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Sanjines. "Obviously."
