Buffalo starter Mike Blain pitched well against the Toronto Juggernauts at Molson Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 9-4, in 15 innings. With the victory, the Rangers record stands at 43-38.

Buffalo used a timely hit from Matty Hrinko to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 15th inning to put the Rangers ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Blain. "I like it."
