Ferris Leads Twins to 11-6 Win Over Athletics
|
The Cincinnati Twins beat the Kansas City Athletics, 11-6, at Ballpark of Missouri. Bryan Ferris, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Cincinnati has a 4-game win streak, while Kansas City has lost 3 in a row.
With Cincinnati leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Ferris hit a 2-run single off Kansas City hurler Yobal Ulacia. It was the 46th hit of the season for Ferris and put his team ahead, 5-2.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Ferris said.
