Alaska picked up a win at Portland Park, bumping off the Portland Dragons, 6-2. Pitcher Travis Sasson was a major reason the Kodiaks emerged victorious. The win lifts Alaska to a record of 6-3.

Jose Lima, who finished 4th in the WC in doubles with 46 in 2075, helped out the Alaska cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder went 1-3 with a walk.

After the game, Alaska manager Alex King applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
