Kodiaks Deal Arrows 6-4 Loss
|
The Alaska Kodiaks beat the Seattle Arrows, 6-4, at Power Ballpark. Alaska right fielder Doug Christiano had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 6 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Ki-tong Lok, now 2-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The win lifted the Alaska record to 40-40.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 16th, until Christiano delivered big-time for Alaska, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Jake Mika. The game-changing hit put the Kodiaks on top, 6-4.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Christiano said.
