Muranaka Slugs Dragons to 11-3 Win
Fans of the Portland Dragons who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Portland win over the visiting Seattle Arrows, 11-3. Pablo Alvarez started for the home team against Ricky Zika. Ginjiro Muranaka earned accolades for his performance.

With Portland leading 5-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Muranaka came up to bat against Seattle pitcher Danny Santistevan. Muranaka hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Dragons on top, 8-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Muranaka.
