Friars Zip Past Kings, 9-1
|
The San Francisco Friars and starting pitcher Shaun Chugh stifled the Baltimore offense en route to a comfortable 9-1 win at Staples Field. Their 49-31 record puts the Friars first in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division.
Early in the game, catcher Lyalya Markosiants had a 2-run home run for San Francisco. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Friars on top, 2-0.
"We took home the win," said Markosiants. "What's not to like?"
