A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Portland Dragons and Vancouver Wolves.

The Portland Dragons converted a terrific effort from starter Yandri Vido into a win over the Vancouver Wolves at Fox-Chong Park. The Dragons won the game by a final score of 6-2. At 46-34, the Dragons are currently first in the Western Conference John Sexton Division.

Portland used the hitting of Hideji Yamanaka to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Dragons on top, 2-0. For the game, Yamanaka had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Yandri can overpower you," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter.
