Dragons Dumped, 4-3, by Las Vegas
|
Despite a great performance by Portland first baseman Alex Guilzar, the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Dragons by the score of 4-3 at Western Coliseum. Guilzar hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Shao-zu An in relief, making him now 3-0. Ryan Mena took the loss for Portland. Las Vegas now sits at 43-38, while Portland falls to 39-41.
Third Baseman Ian Paszek made an impact for Las Vegas, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Ryan Mena in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Paszek was 1 for 4 with a double.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Portland manager Greg Carpenter said, following the tough loss.
