Wolves Use Late Rally to Win
The Vancouver Wolves beat the Portland Dragons, 7-6, in part because of center fielder Dave Castanon. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The 'W' lifts Vancouver's record to 32-48.

Pete Apolinar was the walk-off hero for Vancouver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wolves shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Apolinar said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
