Win Makes San Francisco 47-31
|
San Francisco Friars starter Alex Mijangos was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Baltimore Kings, 5-1. San Francisco reliever Manny Arango picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Aaron Kopta was saddled with the loss. The second-place Kings now sit at 40-38.
Leonilde Tigre hit a 2-run double off Aaron Kopta in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Friars in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Tigre had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Tigre.
