Watanabe Swings Avispas to 18-6 Win
The Santiago Avispas powered past the Toronto Juggernauts, 18-6, at Molson Park. Mayumi Watanabe provided some of the pop. He went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Mario Carrisalez, 5-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. Santiago is now 44-35.

In the first inning, Watanabe had a grand slam home run for Santiago. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Avispas on top, 5-0.

"I put some good swings on the ball tonight," said Watanabe.
