The Havana Metropolitanos went down to defeat to Bob Villarreal and his Toronto teammates. The final score was 5-1, in favor of the Juggernauts. The winning pitcher was Villarreal, now 1-3. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. The third-place Juggernauts are now 38-39, the Metropolitanos 21-56.
The Juggernauts got a big at-bat from right fielder Tillmam Velado. For the game, Velado went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 25th home run of the season gave Toronto a 2-0 lead.
