The Tucson Toros dealt the Minneapolis Vikings a 5-3 loss at Minneapolis Grounds. Mario Murillo was the star on offense. He belted 2 home runs. Luis Jimenez snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 2 innings. He's now 6-2 on the season. Ignacio Noriega wrapped it up, recording his 17th save.

Heater Watkins came through with a big-time hit for Tucson. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Tucson manager Rick Barnes praised his team's "businesslike approach."

With the win, Tucson goes to 36-41, while the Vikings fall to 31-46.
