Titans Claim Late Win
The New York Titans locked up a win at Polo Grounds II, knocking off the Washington Senators, 4-2. On the mound for New York was left-hander Salvatore Castellon. He played a major role in the triumph. New York reliever Luis Erazo snagged the win, upping his record to 3-1. Xiong Loh shouldered the loss. The win puts the Titans at 37-38, while the Senators drop to 32-44.

New York got a knockout punch from Carlos Guadamuz. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Castellon.
