Toronto Nets 5-4 Win Versus Greens
|
The Toronto Juggernauts picked up a win at Molson Park, knocking off the Boston Greens, 5-4. Starting pitcher Edwin Bonomi was a big reason why. Julio Soto earned the save for Toronto, his 14th. Toronto is second in the Eastern Conference Solano Antas Division with a record of 43-34.
Luis Bracero was 1-3 with 2 walks for Toronto. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Williams Martinez. It was his 19th walk of the season.
"At the end of the day, wins and losses are really the only thing that matters," said Bracero.
