Wolves Suffer One-Run Loss at San Antonio
Danny Mathews propelled his team to victory over the Vancouver Wolves. The final score was 4-3, San Antonio. The winning pitcher was Mathews, now 2-0. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Bobby de Jager recorded his 1st save for San Antonio.

San Antonio took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Alex Jaurequi hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Angels.

"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Jaurequi told the San Antonio Chronicle.
