Titans Use Late Rally to Win
|
Due in large part to catcher Edgar Curiel, the New York Titans sunk the Baltimore Kings, 7-5. Curiel was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Ray Menk wrapped it up, recording his 12th save. The win puts New York at 55-20 this season.
Jimmy Keener hit a 2-run triple off Ed Harrison in the top of the eighth, which put the Titans in front, 7-5. Keener had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Keener, "and then get after it again."
