Boston registered a win at Sony Field at Philadelphia by beating the Philadelphia Spectres, 7-3. Pitcher Javy Alejo was one reason why the Greens triumphed. Alejo, now 2-4, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. Raudel Hernandez notched his 12th save of the season.

The Greens got a big at-bat from designated hitter Brian Snavley. For the game, Snavley was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the top of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 18th double of the season gave Boston a 2-0 lead.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff.
