Glaciers 7-5 Losers to Dragons

The Portland Dragons extended their winning streak.
Though he had a terrific game, John Sauve could not prevent his team, the Denver Glaciers, from absorbing a loss. Portland won the game, 7-5. Sauve went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Yandri Vido picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-4. He struck out 5 in 5 innings. Wil Campos earned the save, his 4th in 5 tries.
Du Kau, the Portland center fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 7-4, Dragons. For the game, Kau went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Kau told the Portland Observer. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
The win puts Portland at 42-33 this season.
