Erazo Brings A-Game, Titans Beat Vikings
|
The New York Titans went home winners at Polo Grounds II, thanks in large part to starter Luis Erazo. Erazo stifled the Minneapolis Vikings, enabling New York to grab the 4-0 win. The Titans, at 54-20, have a comfortable 14-game lead in their division.
Erazo made it look effortless. He scattered 1 hit over 7 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The New York right-hander encountered little resistance from the Minneapolis hitters. His season record is now 10-2.
"Luis went out and did what we needed," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
