The timely hitting of Karl Cooper helped the Miami Cyclones down the Toronto Juggernauts, 8-5. Cooper went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Cyclones. Ricardo Riveron earned the save for Miami, his 14th. Miami is now 48-26.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Cyclones grabbed the lead when Cooper hit his 15th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Ubaldo Salviati made it 7-4, Miami.

In his postgame comments, Cyclones manager Chris Stephan heaped praise on Cooper. "For a young player, he's done a lot of good things for us."
