Browns Roll to 8-2 Win Over Cyclones

The home crowd had a good time watching the Miami Cyclones and Brooklyn Browns get after it.
The Brooklyn Browns beat the Miami Cyclones, 8-2, at Brown Town. Brooklyn center fielder Mauro Arcimboldo had an outstanding performance. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Luis Basurto. He tossed 100 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits.
With Brooklyn leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Arcimboldo hit a 2-run single off Miami hurler Earl Starr. It was the 25th hit of the season for Arcimboldo and put his team ahead, 4-1.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Arcimboldo said. "We did a good job of that today."
Brooklyn, at 41-32, holds down second place in the Eastern Conference Max Badaloni Division.
