Andres Carrasquillo pitched a gem to lead Vancouver to victory over the Chicago Phantoms, 2-1. Yasniel Ramirez snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 1.1 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Vancouver is now 3-5.

Vancouver took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Per Fronteira hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Wolves in front, 2-1.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Fronteira.
