Jeff Umlah, who finished 4th in the WC in strikeouts with 212 in 2072, was terrific for the San Antonio Angels in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Las Vegas Aces. His performance earned Umlah rave reviews. With the win, San Antonio climbs to 7-1.

San Antonio used the hitting of Kamaluhaiakapu Kahakuokahale to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Angels on top, 2-0. For the game, Kahakuokahale had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"This team is real focused right now," said San Antonio manager Brandon Coroian.
