Phantoms Coast to 11-2 Victory
|
Chicago starter Tetsukazu Kaneda throttled the San Francisco offense, as the Phantoms won in a rout, 11-2. With the win over San Francisco, the Phantoms improved to 41-32.
The Phantoms got a big hit from right fielder Collin Keller. Facing San Francisco pitcher Sherman Lara in the bottom of the fifth, Keller pounded a bases-clearing double to left. His 1st double of the season put the Phantoms ahead, 11-0.
"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Kaneda.
