Pike Shines in 19-7 Alaska Win
The 6-RBI night of first baseman Alderaan Pike, who finished 3rd in the EC in runs with 109 in 2078, helped the Alaska Kodiaks triumph, 19-7, over the San Diego Destroyers. The Kodiaks now have a record of 35-38 with the win over San Diego.

Eliecer Arruebarrena had a big 2-run double for the Kodiaks in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Alaska trailing 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a forkball from 34-year old right-handed pitcher Travis Sasson and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kodiaks ahead, 5-4.

"I don't care about style points," Pike said. "I only care about winning."
