Big Game from Basurto Not Enough, Browns Lose
The Brooklyn Browns got a superb performance from designated hitter Luis Basurto, but the Montreal Harfangs still won the game, 6-4. Basurto slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Brenden Jayson was credited with the save for Montreal, his 1st of the season. With the win, Montreal lifts its record to 3-4.

The Harfangs got a big at-bat from center fielder Ray Garcia. For the game, Garcia went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Montreal a 2-1 lead.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Harfangs manager Brendan Henry.
