The San Francisco Friars stopped the Las Vegas Aces, 1-0, in 12 innings at Western Coliseum. The Friars got a big game from Lyalya Markosiants, who threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. San Francisco now sports a record of 33-38.

Though he did not get the decision, Markosiants did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7.1 innings, until San Francisco eventually rallied past the Aces.
