The Las Vegas Aces took Danny Mathews's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Tesoro Stadium. The final score had Las Vegas getting past the Angels, 6-4, in 11 innings. Mathews over 7.2 innings allowed 3 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 9. The win hiked the Las Vegas record to 35-35.

Las Vegas needed the clutch hitting of Scott Flynn to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Aces on top, 5-4. For the game, Flynn had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
