Horvers Leads Charge, Philadelphia Blasts Rangers
The Philadelphia Spectres got production from their entire lineup in an easy 16-3 win over the Buffalo Rangers. Doing his part was third baseman Vincent Horvers. Horvers hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 5. The Spectres improved their record to 34-36 with the win over Buffalo.

The Spectres got a big hit from shortstop Evelio Vinent. Facing Buffalo pitcher Matt Kloser in the top of the eighth, Vinent pounded a bases-clearing double to right-center. His 9th double of the season put the Spectres ahead, 15-1.

"We poured it on tonight," said Horvers.
