Molson Park hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.

The Portland (E) Lobster racked up a win at Molson Park, bumping off the Toronto Juggernauts, 2-0. Manny Ochoa, who started for Portland (E), pitched effectively for his team. Ochoa, now 5-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 2, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Kevin D'Addio was called on to finish, recording his 12th save.

The Lobster got an important contribution from catcher Jason Paradis, who in the top of the fourth hit a first pitch sinker into right-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Lobster ahead, 2-0.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold.
