The Boston Greens met their match today in Brooklyn hurler Vince Tozier. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," Boston skipper Matt Glazer said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."
In the 1-0 victory, Tozier whiffed 5 and gave up 1 walk.
On his stats sheet for the year Tozier shows a 6-7 record, 14 starts, 87 innings, 58 strikeouts and a 4.14 ERA.
