Twins Find a Way to Win
|
Twins fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.
The Cincinnati Twins faced a tough opponent in Washington pitcher Rajam Masrani, but still scratched out a win at Cincinnati Grounds by a final score of 1-0 in 10 innings. Masrani went 9.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Cincinnati reliever Phil Cromsie snagged the win, upping his record to 2-3. Rajam Masrani shouldered the loss.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Cincinnati pinch hitter Jae-ho Choe, facing Axel Maisonneuve, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Twins the 1-0 win.
"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Washington manager Josh Cooan.
The Cincinnati winning streak has reached 4 games.
