The Boston Greens defeated the Miami Cyclones, 3-0, in Eastern Conference action at Arrington Park. Boston pitcher Ferrie Franssen had a standout performance. Boston is 37-29 and Miami, with the loss, 24-43.
Boston took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Paul Pagac hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Greens fans to their feet.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Franssen said.
