The San Francisco Friars got their 2078 season off and running with a win over the Vancouver Wolves at Staples Field. The final score was 2-0. San Francisco pitcher Shaun Chugh, in particular, had a fine performance. Getting the save was Jeff Boffa, his 1st.

Chugh picked up the win. He's now 1-0, after putting the Vancouver offense in the deep freeze. Over 8 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 3 hits.

"It feels good to get this one," Chugh told the San Francisco Today.
