Ajete Shuts Out Houston, 15-0 Tuesday, August 27th , 2086 The Houston Aquas manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Las Vegas Aces. The Aquas were overpowered by Las Vegas starter Yolber Ajete, who hurled his club to victory, 15-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Brandon Coroian said. Over 9 innings, Ajete blanked Houston on 2 hits with no walks and 9 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Ajete said. "I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one." In no relief appearances in 2086, Ajete has nailed down the victory 0 times for his club. In 157 innings he has fanned 139 batters and walked 53. His won-lost record is 13-9 with a 4.82 ERA.
