Red-Hot Gonzales WC Player of the Week Monday, August 26th , 2086 Not every ball that came off Jose Gonzales's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Los Angeles Stars. For his exploits, Gonzales was named this week's Western Conference Player of the Week award. The Los Angeles left fielder put up 11 hits in 25 at-bats and 2 home runs while hitting .440 with 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year, Gonzales has batted at a .313 pace with 161 hits, 24 home runs, 84 RBIs and scored 86 times. |
