Thunderbirds Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 9th , 2084 There will be no playoff celebration in the Phoenix Thunderbirds clubhouse this year, as the club was today officially eliminated from contention. The Thunderbirds have made the playoffs 13 times in their 95 years as a Rising Star League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2081. In the last 10 seasons, the Thunderbirds have only made the playoffs once. Phoenix has won the League Championship 2 times in their history. |
