Wolves Leon Rose Will Miss Season Friday, September 21st , 2085 The doctors have spoken and Leon Rose of the Vancouver Wolves didn't like what he heard. The 29-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Rose sustained his season-ending injury during the Chicago Phantoms game yesterday at Fox-Chong Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while making a defensive play. Today the Vancouver medical staff reported Rose had a broken bone in the elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. This season, Rose has hit at a .233 clip and produced 24 runs batted in, 5 home runs and 54 runs. |
