Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2085 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the League Championship and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Phantoms reliever John Gulley. Before this season, the Phantoms last missed the playoffs in 2083. In the 96 years they have been a Rising Star League franchise, they have made the playoffs 34 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Phantoms have made the playoffs 4 times. Chicago has won the League Championship 7 times in their history. |
