Jose Uresti Out for Season Friday, September 14th , 2085 The season is ending on a bad note for Jose Uresti, starting pitcher for the Cincinnati Twins. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Uresti was hurt against the St. Louis Gaedels while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 9 months. Checking out his stats for the year, Uresti has racked up 7 wins and 11 losses in 23 starts, posted a 5.48 ERA, and struck out 111 batters in 138 innings. |
