Jefferson Voted August's Best EC Rookie Saturday, September 1st , 2085 Derek Jefferson's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Washington third baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .283 with 2 doubles, no triples and 10 home runs. Jefferson also scored 20 times and drove in 24 runs. So far in 2085 Jefferson is batting .240 with 24 home runs, 67 RBIs and 78 runs scored. He has 101 hits in 421 at-bats and a .353 OBP. |
