Senators Badeaux Out Rest Of Season Thursday, August 16th , 2085 The Washington Senators were dealt a severe blow when Bobby Badeaux was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Vancouver Wolves. After the game, the team trainer reported Badeaux might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 34-year-old designated hitter out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in the elbow. They indicated it would take Badeaux at least 5-6 months to heal. In 2085 Badeaux has hit at a .296 clip with 139 hits, 11 home runs, 48 RBIs and has scored 92 times. |
