Mario Torres Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, August 15th , 2084 Mario Torres of the Cincinnati Twins was injured in today's game against Portland and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is bone chips in his elbow, and he is expected to be out for up to 5-6 months. It happened while Torres was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." |
