Star of the Week Picked in WC Monday, August 14th , 2084 Rod Inzunza swung a blistering bat last week for San Francisco, rapping out 15 hits in 26 at-bats against Friars opponents to propel himself to the Western Conference Player of the Week Award. Whenever the second baseman hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 25-year-old racked up a .577 batting average with no home runs, 2 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
