Gideon Belts 3 HRs Saturday, August 12th , 2084 Philadelphia Spectres right fielder Ron Gideon left the Cincinnati pitching staff in ruins at Cincinnati Grounds, beating the Twins, 12-9, with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Gideon told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the Philadelphia right fielder had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6 and scored 3 runs. Ron Gideon hit a solo-shot off Tony Hernandez in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Tony Hernandez in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tony Hernandez in the 6th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and grounded out in the 7th.
