Vasco, Rangel Swap Teams Sunday, August 6th , 2084 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Buffalo Rangers and the Los Angeles Stars have agreed to a deal that will have 24-year old 1B Rafael Vasco, 25-year old minor league RHP Dan Shelton, 25-year old minor league RHP Tae-cho Kwack, 32-year old minor league RHP Jesse Collins, and 22-year old minor league 3B Alvin Witz heading to Los Angeles in exchange for 30-year old 2B Ricky Rangel. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. So far this year in 71 games, Vasco is hitting .324 with 11 home runs, 47 RBIs and 42 runs scored. Rangel on the season is hitting .251 with 5 home runs. His stats include 37 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
