Kazune Kimoto Injured, Out for Year Friday, July 21st , 2084 Miami Cyclones starting pitcher Kazune Kimoto left yesterday's game against the St. Louis Gaedels after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch. Kimoto was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Kimoto is expected to miss 6-7 months. So far this season, Kimoto has a 2-3 record, 0 starts, 74.2 innings, 60 strikeouts and a 3.98 ERA. |
